Wind
At 220 cm long and 100cm wide, Wind is made entirely of birch wood. It is composed of 1265 sections over 85 layers which were combined into 220 numbered pieces before being assembled by hand.
From conception to completion in just under 500 hours this is decidedly the most ambitious of Peter’s projects.
Wind is a fully functional bench but it is also a design which stretches our concept of what a piece of furniture can be in the hands of an exceptionally skilled and creative designer.
